Our supporters have provided us with the necessary funding to increase the number of youth that our two mentoring programs serve and to develop collaborations with other programs focusing on youth in out-of-home care.
Our mentoring programs, AFCMentors and Team AFC, rely greatly on the generosity of our individual, foundations, and corporate donors. Through their donations we are able to continue our stellar post-match support, expand our mentor recruitment efforts, match more youth in out-of-home care with consistent adults, and give mentors and mentees the opportunity to enjoy activities such as:
- Our annual camping trip
- An annual Day of Service for foster youth
- Mentor appreciation events
- Mentoring Night at Fenway Park
- Celtics games
- Visits to the Franklin Park Zoo
- Seasonal holiday festivities
