Featured Match

AFC would like to congratulate mentor Megan and mentee Celeste, our current Featured Match!

Megan and Celeste have been matched for 1 year. Their match started off really rocky and at the beginning Celeste was very hesitant about participating in the mentorship. No matter what was done or said Megan continued to set up meetings and show up regardless if Celeste would reciprocate. After a few months of not knowing whether or not their match would continue, the match was in jeopardy of closing and Celeste reached out to Megan and said she wanted to be a part of it. From this point the match took a turn for the better and they were enjoying their time together. Both were consistent with their meetings and the match was moving forward. Although they experienced some ups and downs, Megan continued to show her commitment to Celeste and tried everything she could think of to keep a positive and consistent environment for their match to grow in.

Celeste continues to express how much she really needs and wants her relationship with Megan to continue in her way, and Megan remains committed to Celeste and their mentorship.
