AFC MENTORING NEEDS VISTA MEMBERS
AFC is looking for dedicated, passionate individuals to become AmeriCorps* VISTA members. As a VISTA you will do a year of service providing direct capacity to our organization. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in a nonprofit organization, whether you are making a career change or new to the workforce. We are looking for a Mentor and Volunteer Recruitment VISTA, a Development VISTA, and a Marketing & PR VISTA to start in August 2008. VISTA members are required to put in 40 hours a week and receive a living allowance of approximately $11,388 a year, plus a choice of an educational award or an additional stipend, and a $300 a month rental stipend.
